My recent ceramic works seen below were produced in 2010. I also have photograph archive of previous years at my flickr archive.

The ceramics seen above were produced in 2010 especially for my assesment presentation for assoc. professorship exam in İstanbul. Both serie have their own concept.

The stoneware and limoges porcelain cast serie which is at the top part of the page is based on creating meaning layers by ‘creating shadows’ concept. The idea was explained and interpreted in my lecture at the 3.ICMEA Conference (Fuping, China) and the text was published in proceedings book.

The second serie “Architectural Reflections” was produced by plastic shaping and fired at low degree. The main idea was related with my personal perception about architectural structures. I have written an article about the concept of this serie and interpreted the inspirations of my creation. It was published at the book of 2. Ceramic Art Forum, Zibo, China.

2010 yılının başlarında ürettiğim bu çalışmalar, aynı yıl girmiş olduğum doçentlik sınavımda sunmak için hazırlandı.

Çalışmalar iki ayrı seriden oluşuyor ve hepsi mimari ile ilişkimin plastik yorumlarına dayanıyor. Mimari mekanlar ile etkileşimime dair açıklamalarım 2. Uluslararası Zibo Seramik Sanatı Forumu bildiri kitabındaki “Architectural Reflections: An Autocritical Essay” başlıklı makalemde ele alınıyor.

Gölge imgesini ele aldığım porselen çalışma serisine dair “Catching Shadows by Clay: A Critical Self-Reading In Ceramic Art” başlıklı kişisel okuma denemem ise 3. Uluslararası Seramik Dergi Editörleri Birliği (ICMEA) Konferansında sunuldu ve yayımlandı.
